Lima has a deeply Catholic history, it’s the birthplace of two of the most famous Saints in the Americas: Santa Rosa de Lima and San Martín de Porres. During this tour, you will visit the house of the world’s first Black Saint (San Martín), the famous Wishing Well at the Santa Rosa church, and additionally, you will visit the sanctuary of the Lord of Miracles.
The itinerary below is fulfilled up to 90%, but occasionally, one of the attractions mentioned below might not be accessible due to political, religious, maintenance, or other matters. If this happens, the tour will continue, and we will replace the attraction you couldn’t visit with another one.
Itinerary
- Look for us in front of the La Merced church at 8:30 or another requested time.

- Santa Rosa de Lima was born in the early 17th century and became the first saint of the American continent.
- In the Santa Rosa church, you can visit the famous Wishing Well.
San Martín de Porres was a man of African descent and lived during the same period as Santa Rosa de Lima. However, due to racial and ethnic factors from the catholic church, he was not canonized. It was only in the late 20th century that he was finally canonized by the Catholic Church, becoming the world’s first Black Saint.

Pick-ups and timings:
- The pick up time is puntual but the ending time is approximate.
- We will pick you up as long as you stay in Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, La Victoria and Lima; for other districts an additional cost will apply.
- We will coordinate all pick-up time details one day prior your tour.
Vehicle type and seats:
- We implement vehicles authorized by the Ministry of Transportation of Peru.
- The type and size of vehicle will always depend on the group size.
- We implement modern vehicles with air conditioning: H1, Van, Renault and Sprinter.

Cancellations
The cancellation is free as long as you do it 48 hours in advance; otherwise, a fee of 100% of the tour cost will apply.
