- Day 3: You have a flight from Lima to Arequipa.
- We recommend arriving in Arequipa in the morning, before midday.
- Lima-Cusco flight duration: 1h 30min.
- Which flight companies do we recommend?
- LATAM Airlines is the best option. Their flights are always on time, and cancellations are very rare.
Group tours vs. private tours
In Group Tours, you’ll join other travellers during the excursions. This type of tour is ideal for tourists who want to save money or meet fellow travellers.
In Private Tours, you’ll avoid waiting times during pick-ups, enjoy a fully customisable itinerary, and benefit from 100% private services from the guide and driver. Guided visits will be conducted exclusively in a single language (there won’t be explanations in both English and Spanish simultaneously).
If you wish for this entire travel package to be 100% private, don’t hesitate to contact us!
Pick-ups and schedules
- All pick-ups from hotels or meeting points are arranged the day before the tour.
- The pick-up and drop-off times for all excursions are approximate.
- In some cases, we may not be able to pick you up due to scheduling, festivities, or strikes.
- When being picked up, we will call you by your first name, last name, and the tour destination; otherwise, do not board the bus.
- Pick-ups for tours in Lima and Ica:
- Available only for hotels located in the Miraflores district.
- For other districts, an additional fee will apply, or we will coordinate a meeting point.
- Pick-ups for tours in Arequipa, Puno and Cusco:
- Are available only for hotels located in the historic centre; otherwise, we will coordinate another meeting point.
- If your hotel does not have vehicle access, the streets are one-way, or there is heavy traffic, you will need to walk a few blocks to reach the bus.
- Tour to Machu Picchu:
- Train departures and arrivals are punctual.
- The train ticket schedules we will purchase for your journey will depend on availability.
- The type of Machu Picchu ticket we offer is Circuit 2; however, we cannot guarantee it to 100%—this will depend on availability.
- If Circuit 2 tickets for Machu Picchu are unavailable, we will offer you other ticket types.
- The entry time to Machu Picchu that we provide will depend on your itinerary and ticket availability.
If you book Private Tours, many of the inconveniences mentioned above can be avoided.
